NDT complex

December 6th, 2002.  NDT complex.
    A new up-to-date remote controlled NDT complex for in-pipe defectoscopy has been developed by Diakont. The complex has a unique ability for passing through vertical parts of pipes with a diameter from 700 up to 1000 mm.

    This tool is intended for non-destructive testing of pipes and measuring of revealed defects with certified accuracy.
    The NDT complex incorporates:
  • universal crawler;
  • TV-optical and laser-holographic inspection unit;
  • remote control office.

        In future the complex is to be equipped with ultrasonic and eddy-current inspection system.
